Forever Lost: Episode 1 9+

My clock lost one hand and is making a horrible sound. I can't set the time with only one hand! I'm stuck in the map maze part of the game. The maze (with the torch) was fine the first time I did it, but if you go back into it and make your way through to the end again, there is no way out. You're stuck. (And yes, I did close the game down fully to see if that would fix the glitch and it didn't. I'm still stuck with no way out). Pity as I was enjoying it until the glitches happened. Fix them and I'll give it 5 stars.

I’ve been playing a few escape type games recently and this is up there at the top. The puzzles may sometimes be hard but they’re still intuitive. As opposed to too easy (boring!) or completely arbitrary (what…). As a result, I felt it was worth it to keep plugging away without walkthroughs because I trusted that there were discoverable logical solutions that didn’t rely on randomly tapping everything you see! Very atmospheric but with humour laced through. I’m not a big fan of creepy horror stuff but it wasn’t laid on too thick. I appreciate the ability to take photos too, as keeping a notebook around isn’t always practical. Thanks to all involved for this game; onto the sequel!

I bought this on the back of the shorter free trial despite some “glitchy” reviews. Everything was going fine, but then it crashed. I even tried deleting and reloading, but now I can’t continue. If your games don’t work, remove them from the AppStore or fix them. You can’t take people’s money and sell them a deficient product. Had it worked properly this would likely have been a 5-star rating. Needless to say, I won’t be purchasing the next 2.
