General questions about Freestuff.com.au
1) Are there any fee’s to join Freestuff.com.au?
Answer: NO! The Freestuff.com.au website is completely free to join; in fact you don’t even have to become a member to use our site, of course if you want to gain access to the member’s area of the site and all the benefits that entails, you will need to join.


Account

Account related questions and answers.
1) I have forgotten my password?
Answer: Please use the password reset form, and follow the instructions. Reset Password Form.
2) How do I unsubscribe from your newsletter?
Answer: Login to the members area, go to the My Account page, uncheck the box beside “Newsletter” and click the Save button. You can resubscribe or unsubscribe to the newsletter at any time.
3) How do I delete my account?
Answer: You can delete your account at any time, simply login to the member’s area of the website, go to the My Account page and click the Delete Account button. Your account will be deactivated immediately after you confirm your request. Important Note: All points associated with this account will be lost permanently.
4) How do I change my email address?
Answer: Log in to the members area, go to the My Account page, enter your new email address and click the Save button.
5) Can I change my password, how do I do it?
Answer: Yes you can, log in to the members area, go to the My Account page, enter your new password, enter your new password again in the verify password field and click the Save button.


Points

General questions about points and how to redeem them:
1) What are Points?
Answer: Points are rewarded to members for performing a variety of simple tasks on Freestuff.com.au. These points can be redeemed for various gift vouches and prizes once you have accumulated the minimum required to request redemption. For more information on points and how to earn them, please see the How to Earn Points page.
2) How do I earn Points?
Answer: Points can be earned for referring new members, submitting reviews, adding a new free stuff listing and logging in each day. For more information on how you earn points and how many points you can earn, please visit the How to Earn Points page.
3) How do I redeem my points?
Answer: Login the members area, click on Redeem My Points in the members menu and follow the instructions.
4) What happens after I have requested an item from the redeem points catalogue?
Answer: After submitting your request, you should receive an email within 7 to 10 working days asking you to confirm your delivery address. Simply reply to this email confirming that your delivery address is correct, once this has been done your request will be processed at our earliest convenience.
4) How long does it take for my request to redeem points to be filled?
Answer: It can take up to 6 weeks for point redemptions’ to be completed, however in most cases you should receive your Gift Voucher or Prize in 2 to 3 weeks.


Reviews

Questions about reviews and how they work:
1) Why can’t I see my review?
Answer: All reviews are checked by one of our moderators, it can take up to 10 working days for reviews to be approved. Your points will remain as pending until your review has been moderated.
2) Why haven’t my points been awarded for a review I did?
Answer: Points for all reviews will remain pending until one of our moderators has checked your review for abuse or inappropriate content. This process can take up to 10 working days.


Free Stuff Listings

Commonly asked questions about listings:
1) How do I submit a new free stuff offer?
Answer: You will need to sign in to your Freestuff.com.au account to do this, if you don’t already have one, you can create one completely free of charge, simply go to the Registration Page to get started. After you are logged in, go to the My Account page, in the right hand side menu click the "Submit New Listing" link and simply follow the instructions.
2) I submitted a new listing, why can’t I see it yet?
Answer: All new listings are checked by one of our moderators, it can take up to 10 working days for new listings to be approved. Your points will remain as pending until your new listing has been moderated.
3) Why was my new listing rejected?
Answer: New listing can be rejected if they are not relevant to our site or if they have already been submitted by another member. We reserve the right to deny or remove any listing that we believe may not be suitable with our reason.
4) How long does it take for new listing to be approved?
Answer: New listings can take up to 10 working days to approved, although in most cases it should only take 24 to 48 hours.


Referrals (Invite Friends)

Commonly asked questions about referrals and how to earn extra points from them:
1) How do I invite a friend or refer new members?
Answer: Log in to the members are, go to the My Account page, there you will find your unique referral link. Use this link to email to your friend, post in forums or add it to your blog or web page. You can also make use of the Invite Friends page, simply enter your friends email and a short message and submit the form. Your unique referral link will be sent to them along with your message.
2) How many points will I receive for inviting a friend?
Answer: You will receive 100 points for referring a friend. This will only be credited to your account after your friend has completed the registration process completely, and logged on to the site at least one time.
3) Do you have any banners I can use to promote Freestuff.com.au?
Answer: Yes, we have a selection of promotional banners you can use on your website or blog to refer new members with. Visit the Banners Page and follow the instructions on how to best use them.
4) My friend joined the site, why wasn’t I rewarded?
Answer: When you invite a friend to join, they must join through your unique referral link located on your My Account page. If they did not use this link to join through, you will not receive credit for referring them.
4) Why are some of my referrals still pending?
Answer: Referrals must complete the registration process by confirming their email address, and then login to the site at least one time before you will be credited with 100 points for referring them. Until they have completed this process, referrals will remain pending.
