Cyber danger is emerging as one of the biggest organisational threats today, especially with the major impact the proliferation of Bring Your Own Devices (BYOD) and the Internet of Things (IoT) has on the workplace and educational institutions.
This short introductory course teaches students the basic principles of applying the law to emerging cyber dangers, how best to collect, preserve and present evidence to law enforcement agencies and or lawyers for civil litigation, what international mechanisms are available to law enforcement agencies, and will also familiarise students with the legislation applicable to combat cyber dangers.
This short course will run over 5 weeks in March and April 2016 and is free to undertake.
