As part of the celebrations for World Environment Day there will be an event held in Garema Place, Canberra, on Friday June 4, 2010. There will be plenty of things on offer, including your opportunity to receive a free seedstick. This free seedstick contains seeds of a Weeping Red Bottlebrush - a great native for the Canberra climate. To get your hands on one, you simply head to Garema Place between 11am-2pm on June 4. While you’re there you can also check out what other exhibitors have on offer like building your own birdhouse with Bunnings, or make your own seedball with Gardening Australia, or perhaps spending some time talking to Parks, Conservation and Lands about fire management. There’s all this and plenty more when you attend the ACT’s World Environment Day event .
