The city of Port Phillip is encouraging their residents to Adopt a Tree, to help support the health of trees in the city. By simply adopting a tree in your street or neighbourhood, and watering it weekly, you will help to save the trees within the city from the ravages of drought. Just save your grey water from your shower, bathtub, sink and washing machine (using biodegradable detergents) and use it to water your adopted tree on a weekly basis. To help catch this grey water, the Port Phillip Council is giving away Free Buckets which can be collected from any of the locations provided onsite. So, residents of Port Phillip; do your city and the environment a favour and support the Adopt a Tree Program and get your free bucket today.
