Well what do you know.. I finally received an email for the free birthday club meal. As I stated previously after not receiving the offer last year, I suggest that you may want to fill in a form instore for this offer.

Taco Bill - Birthday Club

My attempt last year to join the Birthday Club was problematic. I have been informed that the voucher is a buy one get one free meal and look forward to receiving it in the mail this year. I received an email from Taco Bill with the following offer: Taco Bill Melbourne Collins Street has an exciting new offer for you!

Tight Ass Tuesday - 3 Course Meal (on a plate) $14.95
To be eligible to receive this offer, please bring a copy (print or on iphone) of this email and advise the restaurant at seating.

On closer inspection of the email I received it was NOT the BIRTHDAY CLUB FREE MEAL OFFER at all. The email I received was for voting "Best Restaurant/national winner" in the "I love food awards". Sorry to misinform but I did not receive a 'free birthday club meal' email and suspect this offer may not be available.

10 days after my birthday I finally received the email for my free birthday meal. There is no mention of 'birthday meal can only be redeemed in the company of others' as previosly stated by a staff member, when I attempted to claim my free meal without the paperwork. I will attempt to redeem this offer again solo, and see how I go.

It was my birthday month so I attended the store I selected in order to redeem my free main meal. I was informed that I needed a piece of paper stating my memebership details; which I never received through the internet sign-up process! And, then I was told that the birthday meal could only be redeemed in the company of others! As I recall when I signed up to this offer via the link, there was any mention that the free meal could only be redeemed with the company of others dining in. This offer stunk more than the garlic they use.
