Enjoy free entry into NSW national parks on the weekend of 15-16 November
Join the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service for a fee free weekend in a celebration of our state's natural and cultural heritage. The NSW Government is offering free entry to all national parks on 15 November and 16 November 2014 to mark the 40th anniversary of the National Parks and Wildlife Act.
During the weekend of 15-16 November, all vehicle fees will be waived for NSW's 46 fee charging parks. Attraction fees for selected places such as La Perouse Museum and Sea Acres Rainforest boardwalk, and landing fees at The Basin and Sydney Harbour Islands, will also be free. There's lots of exciting things to see and do in NSW national parks. Pack up the family and explore your local parks for a picnic, walk, or cycling adventure.

This event is also being held in celebration of the IUCN World Parks Congress in Sydney - a landmark global forum for everyone who cares about conserving our protected parks.

* Please note, fees will still apply for NSW National Park Discovery tours, exclusive use bookings (such as picnic shelter bookings), organised events, cave self-guided and guided tours, camping and accommodation. Landing fees at The Basin and Sydney Harbour Islands will be waived during fee free weekend, but other ticketed activities operated by third parties (such as ferries) will still apply.
