When you get to the venue, introduce yourself to the bar staff and they’ll sort you out with a wristband and free drinks all night. You can choose from drinks including Coke, Coke Zero, Diet Coke and Sprite.
Be safe this weekend
It’s probably not a surprise that drink driving is still a serious issue on our roads. Transport for NSW statistics show it’s a factor in almost one in every five fatal crashes in NSW.
Young guys are in a high risk category with the figures showing nine out of 10 drink drivers killed from 2007 to 2012 were male and two-thirds of those were under 40.
Weekends are the worst times with a third of all fatal drink driving crashes in NSW occurring between 9 pm and 3 am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. So make sure you say an extra special thank you to your designated driver this weekend!
