Retired and starting over? Time management, placing logical order to your process so you may strategically focus on the next right step, is of the utmost importance.
Faced with generating a part-time or full-time income can be daunting especially when you are ready to retire. Let me rephrase that, it can be down-right scary. We’re exposed to so many possibilities online, offline, this guru, that guru chances are we lose our focus. If you’ve been online for any amount of time several possibilities have been introduced to you and you’ve check out some if not all. Is it any reason why it’s so difficult to choose what to do next?
This book is about helping you focus on your next right step. It is not about tools or technology most likely you already have those at your disposal. The aim is to narrow down what you already know and want to share with the world. Helping you create a logical order to your daily activities and managing that in a frame that leaves time for friends, family and fun. Isn’t that what retirement is all about anyway, time for you to do what you planned years ago.

When I started over in this business, my husband said, the reason I wasn’t moving forward, as quickly as I wished, was because I lacked focus. And he was right to a certain extent. It wasn’t focus I lacked, my focus was on everything, What I lacked was strategic focus. Pinpointing the most important steps to begin and not stopping until they were completed.
How do you establish strategic focus when your focus may be on everything? First step is to make a conscious decision to change. Become very clear about your mission and vision. Develop a strategy for achieving the steps necessary to reach your goals.
My, that sounds so simple. But it works!
I had started over so many times I didn’t know what the work for the day was, needless to say where to apply my focus. My excuses finally ran out when faced with the thought of losing everything I had worked to build. The very thought was simply out of the question. I became downright ashamed for not following through on my promises to myself and others.
That is why I wrote this book, I would not what you to be in that position. When all you need to get started is to focus on your next logical step. Implement that step and then move on to the next until all steps are complete.
Become totally and completely guided by your focus as you travel along this path. Eliminate all distractions, commit to a work time schedule for your activities and accomplish them one action step at a time. Once you get the process rolling, natural instinct is to want to finish. It’s a snow ball effect of positive outcomes. It creates a positive assurance of success, and with success comes freedom.
How do you know what I have for you will work? I can say it worked for me and I am your average retiree starting over. Here is the deal, I cannot pull, drag, or push you. The only way you will know is to go through this simple process, implement as you go with a strategic focus to the end. The only thing I can do is hold you accountable while you work to reach your destination.
I say let’s begin; your first step is to find the right time for each activity. I like to start with scheduling in the fun stuff first.
